Our printed programs also include enrolment forms - these are available at the
Learning Centre.
ENROLMENT POLICY:
All enrolments must be on a Park Orchards Learning Centre Enrolment form accompanied by payment in full.
If childcare is required for a course, details of the child/children must be filled in on the enrolment form and also paid for in full.
The rate for childcare is $5.00 per program hour and must be booked at time of enrolment.
We do not take enrolments over the phone
Enrol by completing the form and either post to us with payment or enrol personally during office hours.
We cannot enrol any person unless we receive an enrolment form and payment.
Please note that it is house policy that no children are allowed in adult classes.
REFUND POLICY:
We regret that we are unable to give a refund, except under the following conditions:
Cancellation at least 14 days prior to course commencement.
Cancellation after 7 days prior to course commencement only if place can be filled by another student. A 20% booking fee will be deducted.
No refund on one day workshops
Should a course or workshop be cancelled by the Learning Centre, fees will be refunded in full.
GOVERNMENT FUNDED COURSES FEES POLICY:
Government funded courses under ACFE (Adult Community & Further Education) incur an overall cost of $55.00 for 40 hours.
An amenity fee and in some cases a manual or materials fee will be additional.
If a student enrols in course A in term 1 and comes back to enrol in Course B in term 2 and if both these courses together amount to 40 hours or less, the student will be charged $55.00 plus amenities and manual or material fees.
If a student enrols in one course only which is less that 40 hours the tuition fee remains at $55.00.
Any course which is more than 40 hours is charged at $1.37 per tuition hour. Eg if a course runs for 42 hours the cost will be $57.54 plus amenities and manual/materials.
These courses are shown in the program as (F) following the course title.
