Cranbourne Botanical Gardens - Community Outing

Event Details

As a new initiative for our community, this will be our first community outing day trip. Cranbourne Botanical Gardens are set on 300 hectares of native bushland giving guests at the gardens the opportunity to wander around the award-winning gardens, stop off for some lunch in the Boon Wurrung Cafe, or bring your own lunch to enjoy in the picnic areas located throughout the grounds.

During the day, there is opportunity to take a seat on "The Explorer open-air bus", to take you on a guided tour (optional- additional cost of $15 per person).

Who is able to attend

Community outings are an initiative of Park Orchards Community House & Leaning Centre. Registered participants for this outing must be resident residing in Manningham City Council and are welcome to bring a friend. This friend does not need to reside in Manningham City Council if attending in company of resident.

Costs

$17 per person.

$14 per person for concession and registered carers.

Includes seat on coach and entry to Cranbourne Botanical Gardens.

Lunch: Not included. Participants can purchase onsite at Boon Wurrnung Cafe or bring their own.

Cranbourne Botanical Gardens Explorer Bus incurs additional charges of $15 Adult or $12 Concession fee payable for prepaid seat allocation at time of booking.

Transportation

Transport to and from the Cranbourne Botanical Gardens departs on Thursday 19th October from 572 Park Road, Park Orchards at 9.45am and Domeney Reserve, 52 Knees Rd from 10.00am. Bus will return to these departure locations for participants to retrieve their vehicles around 3pm.

Free parking is available at these locations but please be aware of any street-signed parking restrictions.

Bookings

Bookings for this trip will close Thursday 12th October.

Participants using this service need to be independent and mobile. Mobility aids are accommodated.

Registration

Limited seats are available and will be allocated on a first came, first-served basis.

A full refund is available for cancellations made more than 48-hour prior to coach departure. Any cancellations made under 48 hours prior to coach departure will not be eligible for refund.
