Auslan Teacher
Park Orchards Community House & Learning Centre Incorporated is looking for a qualified Auslan teacher
About the role
We are seeking a teacher to take adult education classes in Auslan. The classes run once a week of an evening, for about eight weeks a term. The training involves teaching participants the basic skills and understanding of the Auslan language so they can better communicate with the Deaf and hard of hearing communities. These classes will run face to face unless we are in a lock down, in which case we would like to pivot to online classes, if possible.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- A qualification in Auslan
- Experience teaching adult classes
- Availability of an evening to take class once a week
- The ability to take classes online during lock down.
Pilates Instructor
Park Orchards Community House & Learning Centre Incorporated is looking for a qualified Pilates instructor, for 2022.
About the role
We are seeking a Pilates instructor to take two classes, weekly. Scheduled classes are Tuesday morning's at 9.15am and Thursday afternoon's at 5.15pm. Each session is one hour long. The position will start in 2022.
These classes will run face to face, unless restrictions do not allow, in which case the trainer must pivot to online classes.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- A qualification in Pilates
- Experience teaching adult classes
- Availability for both sessions
- Confidence taking classes in a space with out admin support
- Resources and skills to take classes online if needed
